Abstract
• Four young, otherwise healthy men developed the signs and symptoms of lateral medullary ischemia following extraordinary outdoor exercise. The syndrome was short-lived, with excellent long-term prognosis. We suggest that the designation "benign lateral medullary syndrome" is appropriate for this transient nonrecurring state. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
