Residues of Malathon on Fruits and Vegetables12

Abstract
Studies of residues of malathion on malathion-treated fruits and vegetables grown in the Pacific Northwest were made in 1951 and 1952. Residues were found to be comparatively short-lived; apples, pears and peaches contained only a trace at harvest time. Residues on snap beans, cucumbers and broccoli measured only a trace on the 6th day after appln. of malathion dusts while spinach contained 4 ppm. after the 6-day interval and a trace after 12 days.
