STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION OF THE INFUNDIBULO-VENTRICULAR CREST (CRISTA SUPRAVENTRICULARIS) OF THE HUMAN HEART

Abstract

The anatomical details of origin, course and insertion of the crest are described and some indications are given about its function. The action of a hypertrophied crest in a hypertropied ventricle may contribute to that amt. of clockwise rotation of the apex which explains the ecg. phenomena in hypertrophy of the right ventricle.
