Abstract
The characteristic loss of chlorophyll, protein, ribo-nucleic acids and alcohol-soluble carbohydrates which occurs in nasturtium leaf discs floating on water is prevented by floating the discs in a solution of gibberellic acid (GA). Solutions containing 1 mg/ liter GA were effective in delaying senescence although routinely 20mg/liter solutions were used. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
