Effects of Growth Regulators on Incompatible Crosses in the GenusArachisL.

Abstract
Wild species in the genus A rachis L. have several desirable characters and are therefore of great interest for use in the genetic improvement of A. hypogaea L. but only a few closely related species have been used. There are many others which could not be used because they are incompatible with the cultivated species. This paper reports techniques to produce hybrids from incompatible crosses.
