Abstract
Allyl-isopropyl-acetyl-carbamide (Sedormid) administered to albino rats by stomach tube caused marked increases in urinary uroporphyrin, coproporphyrin, and porpho-bilinogen. Concurrent clinical changes of paralysis, lethargy, and gastrointestinal dysfunction were noted. The coproporphyrin was predominantly type III isomer. Uroporphyrin methyl ester melted at 260-261[degree]C.Keywords
