Abstract
Recent data on the elastic and piezoelectric constants of the cuprous halides are analysed by a method previously proposed by the author. The results confirm that the same constant ratio between polar quadrupole and dipole strengths applies to the whole family of tetrahedrally coordinated semiconductors. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
