Order-Disorder Transformation in Tellurium-Selenium Alloys by Mössbauer Effect

Abstract

A study of the quadrupole splitting at ${\mathrm{Te}}^{125}$ sites in the ${\mathrm{Te}}_{1-x}{\mathrm{Se}}_x$ system with Se concentration $x$ shows that these alloys are disordered copolymers except at concentrations of $x=0, 0.5, 1.0$, where ordering occurs.
