Abstract
The contributions to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon due to possible couplings of scalar and vector bosons to lepton pairs are calculated to second order. From the results obtained and the comparison between the experimental and theoretical values of , we find new stringent tests of several theories which have been recently put forward.
