Abstract
A woman of 39 years was subjected to an emergency valvotomy for mitral stenosis. At necropsy she had polyps on the endocardial surface of the left ventricle identical in structure with so-called "papillary tumors of heart valves". Histochemical studies showed that these "tumors" may be giant Lambl''s excrescences. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
