Abstract
A polaron mass of was measured by cyclotron resonance of photocarriers induced in semiconducting rare-earth-doped Cd between 1 and 4.5°K. A sharp transition at 178 is interpreted in terms of transitions between states of a polaron trapped by a rare-earth ion.
