Micro-HPLC Detectors: A Review

Abstract
Micro-high performance liquid chromatographic (micro-HPLC) detection modes have been developed and expanded over recent years. These developments have generally been based upon improvements and modifications in the design of conventional HPLC detectors or upon the application of new detection methods whose capabilities match the requirements of micro-HPLC. The areas of laser-based detection methods and on-column graphite fiber electrochemical detectors are given special coverage. Also discussed are photodiode array, “GC-like,” and inductively coupled plasma detector systems.
