Trombicula frittsi n. sp. (Acarinida: Trombiculidae)

Abstract
Specimens of T. frittsi, were collected during 1944 on Bougainville Island. The hosts were Gehyra oce-anica, Varanus indicus, and Rattus praetor. Only engorged larvae were collected.
