Abstract
The effect of dielectric constant on surface discharge of polymer insulators (polyethylene, polycarbonate, polytetrafluoroethylene, and polyamide) with right cylindrical shape was investigated. The experimental results showed that dc flashover voltage was decreased with increase of dielectric constant in polymers. Keywords
