Abstract
A 10% granular formulation of Temik (2-methyl-2-(methylthio)propion-aldehyde O-(methylcarbamoyl)oxime) applied at 20 pounds per acre in the fertilizer band at planting time gave good season-long control of the potato psyllid, Paratrioza cockerelli (Sulc), and the green peach aphid, Myzus persicae (Sulzer), on Kennebec potatoes. Yields of marketable grades were substantially increased over the next best treatment and were more than twice that of the untreated check.
