Abstract
During wet years considerable difficulty is encountered in preparing a seedbed after deep-plowing Solonetz soils; this frequently results in patchiness in crop emergence. The relationship between seed emergence and pH, extractable K and Mg, soluble ions, Ca: Na ratio, soil moisture and deep plowing are discussed.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
