Abstract
A poly(A) fragment was inserted between 2 Q.beta. RNA molecules which had been partially degraded, one from the 3''-end and the other from the 5''-end. Escherichia coli HfrH was infected with these mosaic RNA molecules and a few recombinant phages carrying poly(A) were obtained. Analysis of the RNA of 907 phage (1 of these recombinants) showed a poly(A) chain length of .apprx. 40.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
