ABDOMINAL WOUNDS IN KOREA

Abstract

The treatment of war wounds of the abdomen, in Korea, has been briefly discussed. The importance of early resuscitative measures and operation has been stressed. With proper treatment, most patients with abdominal wounds make a good recovery, and can return to duty or useful occupation. Some technical aspects of their surgical treatment and illustrative cases have been presented.
