Abstract
A formulation is presented for the problem of calculating the effective transport coefficient of a three-phase composite material, having two phases of spherical inclusions arranged in the CsCl structure in a matrix material. A formula is given for the effective transport coefficient ε taking into account dipole and octupole terms in multipole field expansions. The flexibility of the formula in modelling the behavior of ε over a wide range of volume fractions is demonstrated.
