Abstract
We discuss the time-dependent power spectrum of fluorescence light produced by a two-level system driven by a smooth, short, resonant laser pulse. We show how the multipeak structure of the spectrum develops in time. The possibility of a smooth transition to the conventional Mollow spectrum is discussed. Keywords
