Robustness Evaluation for Compliant Assembly Systems

Abstract
A new method for evaluating the robustness of compliant assembly systems is developed based on previously developed variation simulation models. This method can be used for selecting a robust assembly system at product/process development stage. Examples are presented to illustrate the proposed method.Keywords
