Abstract
Excretion of adrenocortical steroids and 17-ketosteroids was measured in normal children and in children with adipose gynism and gynandrism. There was no detectable difference in excretion of 17-ketosteroids between the groups, but the excretions of Com-pound F in adipose gynism, and of Compound F, cortisone + Compound F combined and the A4-3-ketosteroid X4 (Reich-stein''s Compound U) in adipose gynandrism, were increased above the normal. Keywords
