Creatinine-Weight Coefficient as a Measurement of Obesity

Abstract
The creatinine-weight coefficient (CWC) was moderately and negatively correlated with measured fat in a series of healthy adult males. High values of the CWC (26.9- x) correctly identified the leaner men, but low values (x-18.7) did not effectively distinguish the fatter men. A small group of men, with repeatably low creatinine excretion contributed to the "triangular" nature of the distributions, and lowered the correlations.
