Abstract
The X-ray crystal structure of the triiridium p-t-butylcalix[5]arene host molecule [{Ir(η5-C5Me5)}3(p-t-butylcalix[5]arene-H)][BF4]5 5 reveals the deep inclusion of one of the BF4 anions within the bowl shaped cavity of the macrocycle.Keywords
