Abstract
The ranges of E. flavogaster and E. martinica overlap in the southern Lesser Antilles. Where allopatric, martinica is found in all habitats, while flavogaster prefers open habitats and is never found in mesic forest. Zoogeographic evidence indicates the flavogaster has recently invaded from Trinidad, while martinica represents a much earlier invasion of undetermined origin. Considerable overlap occurs in both method and height of feeding, but significant differences exist.
