A Modification of the Correction of Enophthalmos

Abstract
A modification of the Smith technique calls for correcting enophthalmos by implanting connected siliconized rubber (Silastic) beads. This method is simple, accurate, and safe. Removal of the beads, if this becomes indicated, poses a simplified mechanical problem. Initial results in seven patients have been cosmetically encouraging.
