Abstract
Methylamine was isolated from the tissues of M. perennis. A sensitive and specific micro-method for the estimation of methylamine in plant tissues was developed. Infiltration of the leaves of M. perennis with methyl-ethanolamine leads to a substantial increase in the content of methylamine. Methylethanolamine is regarded as the probable precursor of methylamine in M. perennis. Keywords
