Abstract
Summary By feeding malt soup extract and, to selected patients, a viable culture of acidophilus organisms, together with other customary procedures in proctologic practice, pruritus ani was satisfactorily controlled within a few days in 245 (91.2 per cent) of 267 patients.Keywords
