Abstract
Monopolar diathermy is the most frequently utilized dissecting and coagulating modality in laparoscopic surgery but its use in minimally invasive surgery is not without risk [1]. We report an inadvertent thermal injury to the colon, occurring beyond the field of view, during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Keywords
