Abstract
Absorption spectral lines in 87Rb were measured by the internal second harmonic generated from a 1.56µm GaInAsP DFB laser. This second harmonic frequency was locked to the centre of the 87Rb spectral line to stabilise the 1.56 μm fundamental radiation frequency. The resultant frequency stability was 9.0×10-12 at the integration time of 100 s.Keywords
