Abstract
The radioactive decay of the nuclide $^{41}$Ca has been described briefly in a previous communication (1951). A full description is now given including further results. The nuclide decays by orbital electron capture with a half-life of 1$\cdot $1 $\pm $ 0$\cdot $3 $\times $ 10$^{5}$ years. The assignment of this activity to $^{41}$Ca is discussed and the half-life is compared with the values obtained from $\beta $-decay theory.
