Fluorameisensäure-1-adamantylester, ein neues Reagenz zur Einführung der 1-Adamantyloxycarbonyl-Schutzgruppe

Abstract

1-Adamantyl fluoroformate was prepared from 1-adamantol and fluorophosgene. The crystalline and stable fluoroformate was allowed to react with amino acids to give the corresponding 1-adamantyloxycarbonyl derivatives in consistently high yields. This new reagent was ideally reactive for acylation of the imidazole function of histidine and histidyl-peptides.
