Search for an Excited State of the Triton

Abstract

Upper limits for the formation of particle-stable and particle-unstable excited states of the triton in the reaction ${\pi }^{-}+{}_{}{}^6{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li}\to {}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{H}+{}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{H}_{}^{*}{}_{}{}^{}$ are given.
