Traffic models with disorder

Abstract
We propose traffic models with quenched noise in order to investigate the effects of disorder on the flow properties in complex transport systems. In the one-dimensional model we studied in detail, we observed instabilities with respect to disorder and transitions between various modes of propagation.Keywords
