Abstract
The barley endo-sperm response to gibberellic acid was used to evaluate the effects of AMO-1618, CCC, Phosfon D, maleic hydrazide, C-011 and B-995. The growth retardants were unable to inhibit the gibberellin-induced response. It is suggested that the growth retardants probably exert their effects as inhibitors of gibberellin biosynthesis.This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
