The Affinity for Monkey Tissue of Five Antibiotics Having Erythromycin-Like Spectra

Abstract
In experiments with monkeys, Spiramycin was found to have much greater affinity for tissues than the other antibiotics studied. High levels were found in the organs 24 hours after its administration. The experiments in monkeys confirmed the results obtained with mice and suggest that these findings may well apply to human therapy provided similar methods of administration are used.
