Experiments with Pyrethrum for the Control of Codling Moth (Carpocapsa pomonella L.)

Abstract
The expts. included the use of pyrethrin-oil spray for controlling pupae and overwintering larvae and the use of pyrethrum dust, in conjunction with oil sprays, for control of adult moths, eggs, newly-hatched larvae and mature larvae. Thus the codling moth is attacked in every stage of its life history.
