Abstract
Results of solutions of Fock's equations for the normal state of Si V and for , , , , , , , , , , and states of Si IV are reported. Computed term values for the series electron are in satisfactory agreement with experimental values, although the agreement is no better than that obtained by McDougall who used a less elaborate method. Spin-orbit separations have been calculated from these wave functions. The agreement with observed value is satisfactory for the states but not for the and states.
