Abstract
A new species of Brachycephalus is described from Serra da Bocaina, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The new species is characterized by having, in preservative, body uniformly pale cream, dermal ossification of the vertebrae composed of a bulge forming a row, and absence of ossified warts on the body.Keywords
