Abstract
The sensitivity of P. chabaudi in the albino mouse to the standard anti-malarial drugs was compared with that of P. berghei. Both species have a similar level of sensitivity to chloroquine, mepacrine, primaquine, quinine and cycloguanil. P. chabaudi is possibly somewhat more sensitive than P. berghei to pyrimethamine and significantly more sensitive to sulphadiazine and DDS [diaminodiphenyl sulfone.] P. chabaudi is also more sensitive to the p-aminobenzoic acid content of the host''s diet.
