Abstract
This communication deals with a comparison of cardiac output in human subjects determined by the Fick method and estimates of cardiac output from arterial pressures according to formulas recently proposed by Hamilton, Remington, Starr and their respective associates. The results indicate that the cardiac output cannot be calculated from the blood pressure with any degree of accuracy. Keywords
