Colours and Spectrum of X Persei B

Abstract
The BVRI colours and spectrum of X Per B are consistent with its being a normal M I III star, possibly physically connected with X Per A. We find no peculiarities which might suggest that it is the X-ray source 3U 0352 + 30.
