Abstract
A two-stage method of making adjustments in insulin dosage or diet (or both) is described. The 1st stage is restoration of the patient to vigorous health by adequate dosage of insulin, adequate mixed diet, and close spacing of meals. The 2d stage is adjustment of diet by blood sugar estimations so as to maintain a low blood sugar level. The use and difficulties of the method in practice are discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
