Abstract
The atomic quadrupole shielding factor RΘ has been calculated for P322 ground states of Al and In using the Sternheimer uncoupled perturbation numerical approach and Hartree-Fock-Slater wave functions. The calculated values of RΘ(Al)=0.134 and RΘ (In)=0.098 are in good agreement with the available experimental estimates of 0.096±0.053 and 0.114±0.030, respectively.
