Abstract
The survival cases of cutaneous microorganisms in the presence of benzoyl peroxidase were investigated. All the curves exhibited a shoulder prior to exponential cell death. Benzoyl peroxide was lethal to the cutaneous organisms tested; they varied in sensitivity, increasing as follows: Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus capitis, S. epidermidis, S. hominis, P. avidum, P. granulosum and Pityrosporum ovale. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
