Abstract
Somatostatin inhibits the release of acetylcholine electrically induced in the myenteric plexus-longitudinal muscle of the guinea pig ileum. This effect is not mediated by opiate receptors. Tachyphylaxis to this effect of somatostatin was observed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
