Abstract
200 twin pairs were studied from the standpoint of the incidence of stuttering in the twins. Stuttering was found among 14.4% of the monozygotic twin pairs and among 22.7% of dizygotic twin pairs. A concordance for stuttering phenomena was shown among monozygotic twin members. The concordance-discordance method is probably very useful in such studies. Keywords
