Abstract
The presence of a fatty acid dehydrogenase was demonstrated in extracts of adipose tissue. Its activity depended on the presence of a coenzyme, adenylic acid, and inorganic phosphate. Activity was highest with the natural, long chain, fatty acids and decreased with diminishing chain length. A number of dehydrogenase poisons were" tested and found not to affect the enzyme. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
