Abstract
The infinite anomalous threshold singularities in the amplitude for a production reaction may, in certain circumstances, lie close to the physical region. The possibility then arises that they can be "detected" through characteristic peaking effects which they produce, as sometimes happens for the more familiar pole-type singularities. Examples based on triangle graphs are discussed. Keywords
