Abstract
The 2s22p52s2p6 transitions in Sr29+ and Y30+ have been observed by means of a laser-produced plasma and a 2.2-m grazing-incidence spectrograph. Comparison of the observed 2s22p5P32122 fine-structure intervals with values calculated by the Dirac-Fock method allows accurate wavelengths to be predicted for the 2s22p5P322P122 magnetic-dipole transitions in the isoelectronic series of ions Kr27+ Mo33+.
